Getting Ready, Never Ready, Ever Ready (edited and extended version, 2004) a multi-layered work, exploring the nature of black as dark and negative. Global materialism is explored through obsession with the self and appearance and the coexisting threat of loss of self. Physical and psychological disappearance is considered, as is reconciliation (as a bloody and gruelling experience).
